Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in Core Java/J2EE project development on distributed platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in high-level design (HLD), low-level design (LLD), and a strong background in cryptographic functions and tokenization, particularly in the payments domain.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the development of distributed Java applications, ensuring quality and performance.

- Create high-level and low-level designs for applications, participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Implement tokenization and cryptographic functions in software solutions to enhance security.

- Develop cloud applications utilizing modern cloud paradigms and technologies.

- Drive delivery of projects utilizing REST, Web Services, Spring Framework, JDBC, and ORM.

- Facilitate design sessions to ensure that designs meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

- Apply design patterns and work with Domain Driven Design principles to create robust application architectures.

- Drive design decisions and the overall technical direction for projects or applications.

- Define operational readiness key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with stakeholders, including third-party entities.

- Work extensively in the payments domain, encompassing credit card processing, credit networks, statement processing, transaction research, and exception processing.

- Collaborate effectively in an onsite-offshore model, managing tasks and communication across different teams.

- Utilize technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and SQL to enhance application functionality.

- Demonstrate excellent written and communication skills in all interactions with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java/J2EE project development on distributed platforms and applications.

- 5 years of experience in high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD).

- 5 years of involvement in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- 3 years of experience with tokenization and cryptographic functions.

- 2 years of experience in developing cloud applications.

- Proficient in driving the delivery of projects with REST, Web Services, Spring Framework, JDBC, and ORM.

- Strong experience applying design patterns and principles of Domain Driven Design.

- Demonstrated ability to define operational readiness KPIs in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

- Experience in the payments domain, including credit card processing and transaction management.

- Ability to work effectively within an onsite-offshore model.

- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and SQL.

- Excellent written and communication skills.
